Disclaimer

• Downgrading will erase all data on your phone. Make sure to back up your important data before proceeding.
• This guide is for STF-AL10 (Honor 9) only. Do NOT use it on other models.
• Proceed at your own risk. We're not responsible for any damage caused.

Downgrade Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Phone

• Charge your phone to at least 60%.
• Use a good-quality USB cable.
• Backup your data using HiSuite or Google account.

Step 2: Extract the Downgrade Package

• After downloading, extract the zip file using the password provided.
• Inside, you'll find the necessary dload folder or rollback firmware files.

Step 3: Create 'dload' Folder (If not provided)

• On your microSD card, create a folder named dload.
• Place the UPDATE.APP file inside this folder.

Step 4: Start Downgrade

1. Turn off your phone.
2. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power simultaneously.
3. Keep holding until the update process begins automatically.
4. Wait until the installation completes (this might take a few minutes).
5. The phone will reboot into EMUI 8.0.

Troubleshooting Tips

• If the downgrade doesn't start:
  • Try using a different microSD card.
  • Ensure UPDATE.APP is in the correct dload folder.
  • Try updating via HiSuite rollback if manual method fails.

Post-Downgrade Checklist

• After reboot, go through the setup process.
• Check Build Number in Settings > About Phone to confirm EMUI 8.0.
• Restore your backed-up data.
