New Xiaomi MTK Patch IMEI, Chimera Fixes and Samsung Improvements
New Xiaomi MTK Patch IMEI Procedure
We are happy to announce that we released a new solution for patching IMEI on Xiaomi MTK phones that works with
locked bootloader, making the procedure available for an even wider range of devices. This procedure is available from
bootrom/preloader mode.
This procedure might be available for the following devices - this is a partially tested model list:
- Poco C65 (gale) Helio G85
- Redmi 10 (selene) Helio G88
- Redmi 12 (fire) Helio G88
- Redmi 13C (gale) Helio G85
- Redmi A2 (water) Helio G36
- Redmi Note 10 5G (camellia) Dimensity 700
- Redmi Note 11 (evergo) Dimensity 810
- Redmi Note 11S (fleur/miel) Helio G96
- Redmi Note 12 Pro (ruby) Dimensity 1080
- Redmi Note 12S (sea/ocean) Helio G96
- Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G (emerald) Helio G99 Ultra
Please note that this is not a final list of supported models; more devices might be compatible. The feature will only appear if Chimera detects that it is likely to work on the specific device. For more details on supported models, please visit our

Chimera Fixes
We sincerely thank all of you for staying with us and sharing your invaluable feedback. Thanks to your insights and suggestions, we identified and implemented these fixes, making the application even better for everyone:
- Progress indicator: Fixed to work seamlessly
- Login with security code: Resolved related issues
- Phone Card display: Corrected display problems
- Crash prevention: Fixed errors causing application crashes
- LG Repair IMEI: Improved appearance for long text inputs
- Windows Hello: Choice is now saved, no repeated prompts when credentials aren’t saved
- Server communication: Enhanced speed for a smoother experience
- Missing procedures: Added for complete functionality
- User interface: Applied several improvements
Samsung Qualcomm Improvements
New programmers have arrived for Samsung Qualcomm. The following models and BIT versions are supported:
- Samsung Galaxy A23 (SM-A236U) BIT8
- Samsung Galaxy A52 (SM-A526U/U1) BITD
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 (SM-F926U) BIT8
On the devices above, the following procedures are now available: Factory Reset, Remove FRP, Get Info, Remove FMM, Remove MDM, Repair Boot, Root, Repair Serial, CSC Change, Remove Knoxguard (*), Reset Battery Status.
Samsung Exynos Improvements
The following new Samsung Exynos models are now supported in
EUB mode:
- Samsung Galaxy A16 5G (SM-A1660)
- Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 5G (SM-S721N)
Available procedures in EUB mode: Backup, Bootloader Unlock, Change CSC, Change Serial, Factory Reset, FMM Remove, FRP Remove, Set KnoxGuard State, Patch KnoxGuard, Get Info, Lost Mode Remove, Common Criteria Remove, MDM Remove, Remove Warnings, Security Backup/Restore, Network Factory Reset, Reset Battery Status.
The support of the following Samsung Exynos models has been extended with the Read Codes procedure in
EUB mode:
- Samsung Galaxy A16 5G (SM-A166B, SM-A166E, SM-A166M)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 (SM-X306B)
