You'll most likely be running into a lot of false positives due to a lot of device spoofing going around in the modding community. The best way I'd suggest is to add a manual setting to allow users to enable a workaround for that bug in case they're getting it, it's a much easier and safer way to handle it instead of assuming a device's manufacturer at runtime.
