easy process, you do need to understand what you are doing in which step and why. You also have to prepare for it in advance, download and install the tools you'll be using and the original LG ROMs you'll be installing. You will loose the function of the fingerprint reader, but there is a guide to recover that too. I have an unlocked bootloader and root Speed Test access with all features of the phone working perfectly.
