New Chimera Bugfixes​

Procedure Fixes​

  • Fixed a problem in BlackBerry Flash that caused flashing operations to fail under certain conditions.

General Fixes​

  • Reduced initial load time.
  • Improvements to prevent unexpected crashes.
  • Optimized settings page to improve loading speed.
  • Improved error handling for phone image downloads to avoid crashes during download failures.
  • Addressed an issue causing early opening of magnet links before user action.
  • Fixed blank drivers list display to ensure all available drivers are visible.
  • Added a check to verify if the driver pack is active before attempting usage to prevent errors.
  • Login button is now disabled if the username or password fields are left empty, enhancing security.
  • Changed cache folder location to optimize storage management within the app.

User Interface Fixes​

  • Fixed the copy button on the WorkLog page to ensure correct copying functionality.
  • Resolved various dialog issues to enhance the stability of the user interface.

Generic MTK MEID and Xiaomi MTK Patch IMEI with EROFS support ​


Improvements - Xiaomi MTK​


Patch IMEI procedure has been improved to support writing EROFS file systems.​


Supported devices include:​

  • Redmi A1/POCO C50/A1+ (ice)
  • Redmi Note 12S (sea)
  • Redmi A2/A2+/POCO C51 (water)
  • and others

Additional improvements to enable MEID patching (CDMA phones)​



Improvements - Generic MTK​

  • added a new Repair MEID procedure which can repair the MEID value of a device (where it's available)

Improvements - Samsung​

  • Improved the stability of the Identify procedure upon detecting phones in EUB mode

Important note: Newer versions of ChimeraTool application will be signed using SHA-256 hash algorithm only, this might cause issues on older Windows 7 PCs. Make sure you keep your operation system updated and install the latest updates available for your computer.​

You can use your card to change computers instantly. However, you are not able to use it with any sharing programs. Unfortunately, you have used USB Redirector Client Virtual USB Host Controller for the second time.


Our system has detected that you wanted to share Chimera again our system blocked your account. As this is the second time that you have violated our Terms and Conditions we are not able to unblock it.
However, if you wish to use Chimera, we can unblock your account, but only if you pay an unblocking fee. The fee is 119.9 EUR+VAT.

Samsung Exynos Update: Change to EUB without TP and Serial Change procedure​


Added a new Change to EUB mode procedure, which can be used to switch your device from DOWNLOAD mode to EUB mode without using hardware test-points.​



The procedure is available on the following models:​

  • Samsung Galaxy A21s (SM-A217F, SM-A217M, SM-A217N)
  • Samsung Galaxy A51 5G (SM-A516B, SM-A516N, SM-A516U, SM-A516U1, SM-A5160)
