Samsung Fixes and Improvements​

We have made improvements to several EUB procedures for managing Exynos 8845 models (SM-A556*). The updated procedures include:

• Set KnoxGuard State
• Patch KnoxGuard
• CSC Change
• Remove Warnings

The Set KnoxGuard State, Patch KnoxGuard, and Set RMM State EUB procedures are now more compatible with older firmware versions on a wider range of devices (SM-A530*, SM-A730*, SM-A750*, SM-M205*)

We are now supporting new Exynos models based on EUB, including:

• Samsung Galaxy M35 (SM-M356B)
• Samsung Galaxy A35 5G (SM-A3560)
• Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (SM-P620)

Available procedures: Restore / Store Backup, Unlock / Relock Bootloader, CSC Change, Repair Serial, Factory Reset, Remove FMM, Remove FRP, Set KnoxGuard State, Remove Lost Mode, Remove Common Criteria, Remove MDM, Remove Warnings, Restore Security Backup, Read Codes (**), Network Factory Reset, Patch KnoxGuard, Get Info, Reset Battery Status

We have updated the following ADB procedures to support more firmware versions, including Android 13 and below, and Android 14 with security patches below August 2023:

• CSC Change via ADB
• Carrier Relock via ADB
• Qualcomm Read Codes via ADB

Additionally, Exynos Read Codes via ADB have been improved.

*: Remove KnoxGuard procedure is not available on U/U1 Samsung models

We are aware of the issue with devices with disabled MTK bootrom mode, however, we still did not manage to come up with a workaround or solution to them.
As of now, our method that can remove KG lock from these devices are only applicable to phones with MTK bootrom mode.

Dear User,

We do not have sufficient information about your given device to know whether EUB mode is disabled on it or not.
Generally devices which receive KG "Active" state while having a newer firmware will have EUB mode disabled.
That being said, KG state can be changed, but EUB mode cannot re reenabled, so even checking KG state in Download mode does not provide enough information to know whether EUB is disabled or not.
We can only suggest you try to connect the device in EUB mode to Windows Device Manager, and look for the Exynos/UsbDk port.
If you do not see the port anywhere, then EUB is most likely not accessible on the device, and EUB mode procedures are not applicable to these devices unfortunately.
