The Android 10 bugs on my xz2 compact (fingerprint, battery life, bluetooth and some (rather custom to me, admittedly) WiFi problems) have become annoying enough that I don't want to wait for a few months for Sony to fix them. I've already tried a factory reset without much luck (it fixed one issue but most remain). I've read about using flashtool to downgrade firmware and it seems remarkably straightforward... Install a few tools, copy a few files to the right place and away you go. Am I missing something? I'm relatively tech savvy and am fairly comfortable with my pc (command prompt doesn't scare me) but I've never had the courage to root or unlock bootloaders etc, but the downgrade process sounds pretty automated and much simpler than a root or
