ASUS ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, ZenFone 6 firmware, drivers, utilities And Flash tools

ASUS Zenfone 4, 5, 6 Hang On Logo how to fix ( when turned on hangs on the Asus logo or USB charging ).
The most important point: all the actions described below are carried out at your own risk and at your own risk.
If you doubt in your abilities - take the phone to the SC. The author does not bear responsibility for damage to the
equipment caused by the operations described below and does not guarantee that everything will turn out. The data
in the phone's memory will be destroyed. The SD card should be removed before the procedure.

Before you start to do something - turn off the phone and put on charging, even if there are no signs of charging, or
you think that the phone is charged, we still keep on charging a couple of hours.

1. Download files:
- drivers A500_A501_A600_Driver.rar
- AFT (utility for firmware) AsusFlashToolInstaller_1.0.0.7.rar
- file debrick.zip https://yadi.sk / d / u9E2o_fDaWfNR
- file with the firmware image for your device (old - June 14, new - August 14)

Attention! Firmware images on ZenFone 4 beat Yandex.disk!
They do not open. If anyone has workers left - share - reload (I do not have left)

In my case for a new suture refused

(although he died with it), it is better to flash the old one, and then just upgrade in the standard way.
If we decided to start with a new one and the process did not go - we shake the old one, we make a new folder with the debris
(we fill everything from the archives again) and start the whole process from the very beginning. (turn off the phone, connect, debrik, etc.)

2. Install the driver, running both exe' extract from the archive (in turn, and not simultaneously)
3. Create a folder in which everything we need. For example, d: \ Asus
4. In it, unpack the contents of debrick.zip
5. We unpack the contents of the image there (opens with the same winrar, for example). Files from debrick'a and files from the firmware image should
be in one folder (and not in subfolders).
6. In the same folder we move or copy (to whom as it is more convenient, or it is possible not to "move" but to remember where it lies)
the same image file _to the whole_ (in the unpacked form it will also be needed for us).
7. Install AsusFlashToolInstaller. When installing the path, do not change - let it be put where it likes.
8. Open the device manager and in it the tab "Intel Soc", it should have the Intel Soc USB Driver.
We leave "on the surface".

9. We take the ZERO_ and ZenFone off, press the VolumeDown button
and the power button for 5-7 seconds.
We release the buttons - visually nothing will happen - the screen should not turn on.
10. We connect the device to the computer (via USB).
In the list of devices should appear "CloverviewPlus Device"

11. Run debrick.bat (it's in the folder d: \ Asus)
We wait for it to work out, in the process, the progress points will go, switch off / connect the device, the
line "Reconnecting to the device - Attempt # 1" will slip, in the end, everything will stop
and the window with the terminal will close (if you did not open it yourself).

After that, the device itself is overloaded into DroidBoot mode.
12. Run AFT, after downloading it, reboot the device by selecting in me Reboot Droidboot.
13. After the reboot in AFT, our Zenfone should appear as a serial number.
14. In the model selection list, select the type that is connected.

Wipe - at your discretion, I preferred to wipe that there would not be any extra tails and problems with them.
15. Clicking on the button with the folder select the file with the firmware.
16. Select the device in the list of connected, check again that everything is selected correctly and
the body is charged and press the Start button.
17. If the process has gone

- we go to drink tea/coffee / other delicious liquids, well, or just wait.
Wait for a long time, the phone in the process will fight in convulsions and fiercely resist,
can appear any warnings and errors (I have aft swearing that there is a more recent firmware),
but if the process initially went, do not touch anything!
During the firmware, the phone will repeatedly turn on / off the screen and reboot.
We are waiting for AFT to say that everything is OK, and the system is checked.

It lasted for 20 minutes. When everything is sewn up - the phone will boot up before selecting the language of the system, and AFT will write that everything is ok.
All the actions described here were performed on two ZenFone 5 phones connected to different computers, different people.
In both cases, the result is positive.
The scheme should be similar to both 4 and 6 zenfone.

AFT, which should sew the firmware without testing the hardware.
AsusFlashTool-patched.exe

Dump the differences from the source file: aft-patched.nfo.txt

Theoretically, if the firmware does not match the device - it will turn out to be a brick (which is not a fact that is spread out) but _possible_ if the differences are minimal then it will help someone.
In any case, before using this tool - think, can it be easier to reach the SC and there to cure the device?
